What happened during Day 6

Now our Recording Tradition heroes are already halfway through the project, the public screening of our tradition videos is getting closer and closer, and the work is getting harder! In fact, on the 6th day the groups had to speed up with their ideas to create videos and stories.

After breakfast, the groups went around the village or in the forest to shoot photos, make videos, meet people and collect interviews and traditions. During this time, each participant shared in their groups, their ideas and creativity, developed through the last days. The weather was not on everyone's side all the time though; it was very crazy with sun and then rain and then sun again.

In the afternoon, the day continued with a workshop about video editing, to enable all participants to work and edit the materials collected in the morning and to equilateral the different level of knowledge about audio/video editing inside the groups.

At the end of the day, there was a reflection session. Indeed the participants were invited to share their moods, their suggestions, what they have been feeling about the project, what they liked and what is not working for them and suggestions for improvement. The facilitators' suggestion was to do so by each participant choosing a song or poem that resonates with their feelings and learnings so far and take the time to read it or listen to it while they personally reflect and then play it on the background while sharing with their groups. The facilitators then had a meeting with the reflection group representatives, collected and embraced the feedback in order to improve the program and take participants' needs into consideration.

In the evening and after the dinner the local youth club that usually prepares all the food was full of people and there was a fun party to relax after a day of hard work.
